Jesus died to sin so we wouldn’t have to spend money on self-improvement.

This means we don’t have to try and resist sin without him. But with him.. believing that He provided the product that works. Death to the flesh.. the things that cheat us from time, money and self-respect. These things are no longer irresistible. It’s not automatic but we have a choice.
