Job has always been a mysterious book to me. But it’s beginning to open up. Some say it was the earliest book to be written. I can see why. God is good and He smooths the way for us. It’s not Him that instigates struggle.

What is the book of Job about in one word… curses. As we learn about God’s ways we realize the bad things that happen to us have to have been given permission by us first…or our ancestors. Job was all the things he said he was. God attested to Job’s character. It turned out his greatest victory of all was to break the curses from his family history so his children could prosper without the working of curses in their lives. Now that is an inheritance!
