Water Down the Pain!

Pain is not some strange thing that comes out of nowhere. It’s a consequence of something. One of the main causes of pain is dehydration.

Let’s think about it. If a car doesn’t have enough oil there is friction that causes problems in the engine. The human body has the same kind of need for water.

According to H.H. Mitchell, Journal of Biological Chemistry 158, the brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water. The skin contains 64% water, muscles and kidneys are 79%, and even the bones are watery: 31%.

One more thing about water. Some water may be acidic and the body won’t want much. But if you drink alkaline water you may be able to reach your water goal for the day. But be careful you don’t want to be too alkaline either!
